Where’s your rhythm?? It’s within YOU! This class explores how we discover and use rhythm in music, speaking, singing, dancing, and so many other places! We’ll learn how those skills are used not only on stage, but also in our daily lives. Be ready to shake, rattle, and roll as we find our rhythm!
Rhythm classes help children develop confidence, dexterity, coordination, and focus. They can also provide opportunities for children to discover and practice leadership, collaboration, and artistic expression.

Dress Code
All students are required to wear closed-toe shoes. Sandals, flip-flops, Crocs, and other open-toed footwear are not permitted.
Sick Policy
The health and safety of our students are a top priority. To prevent the spread of illnesses, we ask that sick students remain at home. If a student becomes ill during class, they will be isolated from the other students, and their caregiver will be contacted immediately to pick them up. Students must be symptom-free before returning.
COVID-19 Considerations: In addition to general illness prevention, we recommend the following for students experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or exposure:
- Stay home: Students who exhibit symptoms consistent with COVID-19 should isolate at home.
- COVID-19 testing: If your child has had symptoms or has been exposed to someone with COVID-19, you should consider giving them a COVID-19 test before returning to class.
- Follow local guidelines: We will adhere to local and state health department guidelines regarding COVID-19 protocols.
Late Policy
Students must be picked up promptly at the end of each session. Late fees may apply for late pickup.
Refunds
Enrollments are processed on a first-come, first-served basis in the order forms and payments are received. You will receive an immediate notification if a class you want is full and you have been placed on a waiting list. Otherwise, DCT will confirm your class placement after the registration has been processed.
Full payment is required for enrollment. Partial refunds are available with notice of withdrawal up to two weeks before class. There are no refunds after that point.
Class Cancellation Policy
DCT reserves the right to cancel any class due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a cancellation, students will receive a refund. In the case of inclement weather, DCT cannot guarantee that missed classes can be made up.
