EN GARDE!! Who doesn’t want to learn how to sword fight?! (Don’t worry, adults! Our swords were smithied in the hills of Foam Noodleton with everyone’s utmost SAFETY 1ST!. “Safety First” will be a phrase ingrained in the students’ minds as we delve into the world of stage combat. From the proper way to take a stage fall to the proper techniques for an Elizabethan-era sword fight, we’ll learn the various ways some of our favorite action stars of the stage and screen prepare for their roles.
Children can benefit from up to several hours of physical activity each day. Fun, focused movement is a great way to build confidence, social skills, cooperation, and trust.
Class Requirements

Dress Code
All students are required to wear closed-toe shoes. Sandals, flip-flops, Crocs, and other open-toed footwear are not permitted.
Sick Policy
The health and safety of our students are a top priority. To prevent the spread of illnesses, we ask that sick students remain at home. If a student becomes ill during class, they will be isolated from the other students, and their caregiver will be contacted immediately to pick them up. Students must be symptom-free before returning.
COVID-19 Considerations: In addition to general illness prevention, we recommend the following for students experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or exposure:
- Stay home: Students who exhibit symptoms consistent with COVID-19 should isolate at home.
- COVID-19 testing: If your child has had symptoms or has been exposed to someone with COVID-19, you should consider giving them a COVID-19 test before returning to class.
- Follow local guidelines: We will adhere to local and state health department guidelines regarding COVID-19 protocols.
Late Policy
Students must be picked up promptly at the end of each session. Late fees may apply for late pickup.
Refunds
Enrollments are processed on a first-come, first-served basis in the order forms and payments are received. You will receive an immediate notification if a class you want is full and you have been placed on a waiting list. Otherwise, DCT will confirm your class placement after the registration has been processed.
Full payment is required for enrollment. Partial refunds are available with notice of withdrawal up to two weeks before class. There are no refunds after that point.
Class Cancellation Policy
DCT reserves the right to cancel any class due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a cancellation, students will receive a refund. In the case of inclement weather, DCT cannot guarantee that missed classes can be made up.
