It's A Party!

The Who? Party benefiting the
Dallas Children's Theater Student Matinee Performance Series

Saturday, September 17, 2016 • 3 - 5:30 PM • Rosewood Center for Family Arts

The party gets started immediately after the 1:30 PM performance of SEUSSICAL™.

This event supports the Student Matinee Performance Series, the primary program in Dallas where students are exposed to live theater as an extension of classroom learning. This year, as many as 50,000 students will experience DCT's theater magic at virtually no direct cost to them. Funds will go to help close the $831,926 gap to run the program this year.

Josh Groban

"The arts provide, in my opinion, a foundation for so many core important qualities. The ability to explore, to wonder, to connect and express without judgment. To see the world as diverse but not divided and see cultural blockades broken down through the universal languages of artistic expression. It is the great uniter."
- Josh Groban, Recording Artist

Young Family

"DCT offers exciting and colorful productions that give life to language arts instruction, fire the imagination, and teach students theater etiquette. Our parents often do not have the means to take their children to the theater themselves so these performances are often the only live productions seen by our students throughout the year.
- Helen Stettler, M.T. Reilly Elementary School
