Charlie Brown Fun To Do

Everyone remembers Charlie Brown's sad wilted Christmas tree that won't stop shedding its needles. Then with the help of his friends and some holiday decorations and cheer, the whole gang gathers 'round for a perfect celebration.

These adorable and yummy little trees are a perfect way for your favorite gang to gather together and create a festive table top or pick a favorite color and take a bite.

To make ice cream cone trees you will need:
Sugar ice cream cones
Frosting
sugar sprinkles in assorted colors

1. Spread frosting onto cones and cover completely.
2. Pour sugar sprinkles onto a plate. Roll frosted cone in sprinkles until completely covered. Let dry for a few hours or overnight.
3. Pour leftover sprinkles onto a paper towel and funnel them into the bottle again to re-use.

DCT Mom thoughts

The holidays are a scary time for recipes. The stakes are high, especially if you're hosting the big holiday meal. As you grow up sometimes the anticipation becomes more about the meal than the toys, so expectations are high and everyone has their favorites. It's a good thing the holiday kitchen is a perfect place for family and friends to work together to make things just right. I've found when we work together, even when things don't go exactly according to plan, the time together is what makes the memory last forever. This season with Me: The Recipe-themed shows that we are made up of many different parts, including our environment, experiences, and our relationships.
