Hats off

If you have completed the word find located in the program for Kathy Burks Theatre of Puppetry Arts THE NUTCRACKER, please download the solution below to check your work!

With a large piece of green felt that you can purchase at your local craft store, cut out a Christmas tree, and hang it on the wall with the 'no-damage-to-paint' Command © 3m tape. With a variety of other felt colors, cut out ornaments and present boxes.

Your kids can then decorate the tree and arrange the presents over and over again!

Credit: Thank you to Sol and Rachel Do A Blog for this great idea and images! http://www.solandrachel.com/2011/12/pinterest-christmas.html Assemble your snack time Hat Snacks starting with half of the sandwich cookie on bottom. Layer the red gummy rings with the white cookie icing until you reach your desired "hat" length.

The featured photo from crafty Mommy blog, Fancy Frugal Life, shows you how to assemble your Hat Snacks with these simple ingredients.

DCT Mom thoughts

This felt tree would be perfect for our toddler who LOVES ornaments! Maybe this would keep him away from all the glass ornaments at his Mimi's house if he has his own tree to decorate! (The above photo is of that same curious little toddler meeting Frosty at last year's Kathy Burks' Theater of Puppetry Arts holiday show.)
